Bible Question: WILL GOD PUNISH THE CHILDREN FOR THE SINS OF THE PARENTS? |
Bible Answer: YES! 1st take heart, we live under a new Covenant. We fall under the authority of any sin that has not been broken in our lives (recognized, renounced and buried under the blood of Christ) that we or our fathers have committed in the past. (our children have the same problem where our sins and our fore-fathers sins are concerned. We need to teach them how to deal with this problem that they will nedd to deal with.) These sins have dominion in our lives because we have learned them and come to accept them in our lives. Just like any other sin we need to recognize that sin exisists, repent of it, renounce it and put it under the Blood. Simple as that. Remember if you love Christ... you're not in the same situation as they were in that day. God has made a way out! Praise God! Hope this helps you out. |
