Subject: Who was Zipporah father |
Bible Note: Emmaus This site basically confirms what I thought. Ethopian or Cushites were from a different area than Midian. I beleive Zipporah was a Midianite which I seem to remember to be subculture of the Cannanties and after her apparent death Moses then married an unnamed Ethopian women that caused the conflict with Miriam and family. If the conflict spoken about in Numbers is over Zipporah it must have been brewing for a while since Moses had to have been married 40 plus years at this time. Moses had an extended lifetime compared to most of this time that to me makes it reasonable he out lived Zipporah and remarried. EdB |
