Bible Note: Scripture ... Exo 13:2, 22:29, 34:20; Lev 27:26; Num 3:12-13, 40-50; 1 Sam 1:12-2:11 ... BuzyWuzy, welcome to the forum. God thinks of firstborns as special. Start in Exodus 13:2, "Sanctify to Me every firstborn, the first offspring of every womb among the sons of Israel, both of man and beast; it belongs to Me" (xref Exo 22:29, 34:20; Lev 27:26; Num 3:12-13, 40-50). There are more verses about the firstborn. I thought about Hannah's firstborn, Samuel (1 Sam 1:12-2:11) as I read your post. I too pray that your pregnacy goes well and your firstborn learns to serve the Lord from you and your husband, Searcher |
