Subject: Love God, His word, any difference? |
Bible Note: Hello, Doc: The only scriptural evidence I felt led to offer was the statement by our Lord, that ‘"sinners also love those that love them" (Luke 6)'. See verse 32. You can ignore the fact that humanism makes love for others the object of the religion and finds no need for God. To be in keeping with the forum guidelines, I should not have mentioned it, since I did not take the time to recall what the Bible says about that. I also will not ask you to give a Bible reference for the idea that “lost people do not know how to love”. I would guess that Jesus’ statement about “sinners” loving others is enough. |
