Bible Note: Dear Dr. Aixen, The Scripture clearly states that the righteous love the Word of the Lord. Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. (Psalms 1:1-2) Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them. (Psalms 119:165 KJV) But whoever keeps His Word, truly in this one the love of God has been perfected. By this we know that we are in Him. (Jeremiah 6:10) And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. (1 John 2:3-5) In Him, Doc |
