Bible Question (short): The definition of silence |
Question (full): I am so curious about the extremely differently worded scripture of Psalm 65:1 in the Amplified as compared to the other popular versions. The only one that comes close to the Amplified's wording is the NASB. However the particular words "the submissive wonder of reverence which bursts forth into praise" isn't implied remotely in any other translation, so I would love to know how this made it into the final the Amplified translation. I ask, because I am doing a study on silence and these words used in the Amplified version (based on the whole verse) seem to give an actual definition of silence, which I find completely fascinating! |
