Bible Question:
can a person be born evil |
Bible Answer: Dear Bobbie, Welcome to the forum! Yes, we all inherit the sinful nature of our father Adam. You can see the universality of sin in Romans 1 through 3. However, I find Psalm 51 to be a particularly good explanation of our sinfulness. There David uses language that explains our guilt in legal terms, moral terms, terms of uncleanliness, terms of impurity, etc. So what hope is there that we can stand to be judged before a perfectly Holy God? None whatsoever. That is why the Gospel is good news! In Him, Doc |
