Bible Question:
Colleagues, Does Satan have free will? Carte Blanche? Does God often grant permission to physically attack the saints? In Jesus' name, charis |
Bible Answer: I don't know about "often," but Scripture tells us taht he does it. In Matthew 4, the Holy Spirit even leads Jesus out to be tempted by Satan. Just as God is not the author of our sin but fits it into the grand scheme that ends up with God and the church victorious, he also uses Satan's hatred of God to his purposes as well. One only needs to read through the rest of the book of Job to see how God uses even his enemies to his glory. --Joe! |
