| Bible Question: I'm fairly new to serious Bible study and have many questions about the thousand-years (millinium)...has it yet begun? what will WE be doing during that time? where can I look for answers? |

Bible Answer: So many different views on this, it would be hard to sum them all up in one post. In short there's three "main" views, PreMillennium, Amillennium, and PostMillennium. (I'm an Amill myself.) I would HIGHLY recommend R.C. Sproul's book called, "The Last Days According to Jesus." He's got a great chapter looking at the different views and just as important a look at parts of Revelation and the Olivet Discourse. Another book you can look at is this, "Three Views on the Millennium and Beyond" edited by Darrell Bock. It's got overviews of the three views by some well known supporters of each. Bear in mind though, that like all things, there will be views within those views, none are in stone, but you should get the jist of them. Lastly, there are of course stand alone books on each view indivdually. Take care, |
