Bible Note: since the church is not flesh and blood , but made up of flesh and blood members, I am sure that Jesus was speaking to the members of that particulat congregation. some time we do play with words, or read something into it that is not there, which should not be. But according to God's word through out the bible there is no theory to support once saved always saved. according to 2 Ptr 2:22 when we turn away from the faith as the proverb put it, the dog is turned to his own vomit again, and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire. each of these things repersent returning to sin. So we can fall from grace. I don't want to have to repent and do my first works over again, what about you. lest get it right the first time around. |
