Subject: Sin unto death |
Bible Note: BB, The text does not allow for the interpretation you are teaching. 1 John 5:16 (NASB) If anyone sees his brother committing a sin not leading to death, he shall ask and God will for him give life to those who commit sin not leading to death. There is a sin leading to death; I do not say that he should make request for this. The text clearly speaks of a brother (i.e. a believer) committing a sin not leading to death. For a none believer, all their sins lead to death not just a specific sin or a specific type of sin. John 3:18 (NASB) "He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
