Bible Question: I dont have taht much money. Is there a place to get a free Bible? do they have them at the library? |
Bible Answer: Greetings New2Bible, Including this website, there are a number of websites in which you can read the Bible or download the Bible, including.. http://www.bible.org http://www.e-sword.net http://www.htmlbible.com/ http://www.goshen.net/ http://unbound.biola.edu http://www.studylight.org/pref http://www.blueletterbible.org http://etext.virginia.edu/frames/bibleframe.html http://bible.crosswalk.com http://bible.gospelcom.net As for picking up a Bible for free, my church (http://www.jesusmc.org) has a basket in the Narthex (as you walk in) that has donated Bibles that you can take home for free. If you live in the Indianapolis, IN area, that is. Believe it or not, I walked in to Berean Bible Bookstore about 11:00 AM yesterday (Saturday) and purchased a complete NKJV for only 97 cents! I believe that the best two Bible translations out there today (in English) are the NKJV and the NASB. Feel free to visit your local church or local Bible bookstore or local Gideons society (they are always handing out those handy New Testaments!).. Blessings to you, Makarios |
