Bible Question:
Amanda the butterfly! yes, we are very happy when we are together even though she avoids the words pertaining to the meaning " i love you ".. she has left and returned a number of times leaving me sad and hurt. I know that she feels contentment when she is close to me.. but, she cannot commit. She says she doesn't want to be with me, that we wont be together. All his while she has kept the fire burning in me alive! She does feel something indeed.. but why not the commitment, why does she look to tarot card readings and astrology for her answers and says she should have been orthodox. She is lost and insecure, lacking trust and not confiding in me. She recognises my qaulities and agrees I'm a good person and that she is attracted to me. I feel she needs spiritual evolution, a profound re-establishment of her psyche and life values. A pillar to give her confidence in herself and genuine existence. How can I help her, help us to be sure of a more stable and solid stance in life and in our relationship? You can lead a horse to water but cannot make him drink" .. i have a problem leading this "horse" to water, she doesn't get to even see what there is to drink. I need her evolution, our relationship depends on it. Are there any good answers and information available, any codes or solutions? I Love her. Her behaviour and attitude leave me confronted by a pschological wall. I don't want to upset her. How could she see what there is to "drink", before again she flutters off back and forth in her seemingly sad state of serenity. thank you. boLB* |
Bible Answer: boLB: In reading your note there come to my mind several areas of concern. I don't know if you are a follower of Jesus or not, as you don't say. If you are a follower of Jesus Christ then what are you doing in such a immoral relationship? For that matter even if your not a Christian this in not a healthy relationship. For the reason that you turned to this Forum I will take it you are a Christian. I will make it real, and get to the point. I Cor. 6:14. You can not take fire into your soul, and not expect to bet burned. You are spiritually in serious big time trouble, say nothing of what this immoral, unbiblical relationship with your mind and body. You have one acceptable choice. Get out at once, flee from this and repent. That's a rather old fashion term, but you get the point. Ot you can remain in the same condition as you are. The choice is your's and I pray you will choose the way of Christ. justme |
