Subject: ROMANS STUDY |
Bible Note: Tim, Thankyou for responding to the question. So far you are the only one that has actually attempted to answer this particular post rather that get bogged down with rehtoric. I agree with what you are saying and yes, one does need to recognise God's existence. But just because one rcognises that God exists doesn't mean that his heart is in the right attitude and spirit. Maybe the answer is that the sinner needs to honour God as THE God (one and only) and that creation is the evidence of His "eternal power" and "divine nature". In regards to the truth part of the question, Reformer Joe answered in well in the string relating to Romans 1:18. The KIND of truth in the verses is the kind that Condemns the sinner. Later on in the book there is the KIND of truth that reveals salvation to the sinner. Nolan, Lionstrong, Hank, Ray Guys, to date I do appreciate you input and I am enjoying the forum. No doubt as I continue my study in Romans and Revelation, I will be asking more questions (And in time maybe answer a few), but please let's keep on the subject. I do have pretty thick skin and can take a fair bit of abuse, but I am no doormat. GB zion |
