Bible Question: I volunteer as a Co-facilitator at two Support Groups for a state-funded, not- for-profit, service that offers many resources to abused women and children. Since this is state-funded, I have been told that out of respect for everyones own beliefs... I can only express my Christian faith and beliefs if someone approaches me about it. Sometimes, I get approached but I would "love" to find "creative" ways to share God's promices and love to these hurting women and children without waiting to be approached and without getting in trouble with this facility. Does anyone have suggestions? Please advise. Thank You and May The Lord Keep You and Your Loved Ones Safe and Filled With His Love. |
Bible Answer: The way you can express the faith you have with the ladies in abusive relationship and trying to get free. Tell them to read Romans 8th Chapter, the entire chapter. Tell them if they have questions concerning what they have read, bring it before the class and discuss the reading in the way no one will be offended or the services rendered. Allow them to express what they have receive from the reading and how does it apply to their lives daily. There are many aspects you can used pray and ask God to direct you in this task. There are ways to make others feel safe and secure, pray for a opening. |
