Bible Question: Hello everyone, could someone please tell me in plain english what the meaning of sanctification is in relation to "Affirmation", "Realisation", and "Ministration". I'm new at leading Bible studies and am having some difficulty becoming familiar with this process. Can you please give examples of what God has told us for each aspect of sanctification. God Bless you. Jim |
Bible Answer: Jim, I think Acts is a good place to start to find answers and examples about your question. When we are by grace through faith justified in Christ, the Holy Spirit continues by sanctifying grace to affirm or confirm us in our faith, and by sanctifying grace gives us the strength to carry out to its realization our ministry of service to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Acts of the Apostles could just as easily be renamed The Acts of the Holy Spirit, because it was the Holy Spirit by grace working in and through the Apostles in their ministry of preaching and spreading the Gospel to all the world. He affirmed them in their mission and its realization by His constant presence and grace, and He still does the same today. Jesus is risen! Allelulia! Emmaus |
