Subject: How did the Trinity concept come to be? |
Bible Note: Eccles 12:6 Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern. 7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was, and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. 8 Vanity of vanities, saith the preacher all is vanity. Mat. 27:50 Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. Luke 23:46 And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit, and having said thus, he gave up the ghost. 47 Now when the centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, saying, Certainly this was a righteous man. The holy spirit or spirit of, or from God, or spirit of the lord were not capitalized in the original text or most verses in the old testiment. They are still in lower case. And I do know the difference between soul and spirit. |
