Subject: How could God send anyone to hell ? |
Bible Note: You wrote, "God does not send anyone to Hell. We choose that for ourselves..." Oh my, tgc, I disagree! Simply ask yourself the question, "From *what* are we saved?" The worst thing that can happen to anyone is to be naked and exposed before the wrath of the Holy Lord God! God is the legislator, injured party, eye-witness, prosecutor, judge, and executioner. Just look at the Biblical references containing the word "wrath." I've never quite understood this effort to somehow protect God from acts that are perfectly consistent with His holiness. Maybe it has to do with not really understanding what God's holiness is all about. Frankly, I think it is telling when people ask "How can God send people to hell?" That question reveals a far too minimized view of man's guilt and a far too demeaned view of God's holiness. A better question would be "How can God send people to heaven?" In Him, Doc |
