AMPLIFIED 2015 | 2 Chronicles 5:10 There was nothing in the ark except the two tablets [of the Ten Commandments] which Moses put there at Mount Horeb, when the LORD made a covenant with the Israelites, when they came out of Egypt. [Ex 31:18] |
Bible Question:
This verse says that the tablets were the ONLY thing in the Ark. What happened to these things that were supposed to be in the Ark of The Covenanat as decribed in Hebrews 9:4? "the ark of the covenant covered on all sides with gold, in which was a golden jar holding the manna, and Aaron's rod which budded, and the tables of the covenant;" |
Bible Answer: Dear Mommapbs: For centuries mankind has been looking for these artifacts. I suppose if they were found, the items would become worshiped. Don't you? Proberly the jar of mana would be spoiled by now anyway. The people complained a lot about it, and even would have returned to eating leeks. Uck! Recently PBS had a progran in which they think, it might be in the church where Christ was supposed to be born. However there are three outer buidings and no one is allowed to tare into the walls as it is considered sacred. So what do you think would happen if it was not the place Jesus was born? They would not make any money charging people to see it. Right? Oh well hope this gives you something to think about. agape, justme |
