Subject: what can i learn about who God is? |
Bible Note: gospelcompilation, It's not a matter of your opinion that concerns me. What motive do I have in asking, plain and simple. We as disciples of Jesus Christ are accountable to God for what we teach and preach. Your opinion,my opinion any one's opinion don't amount to squat if it doesn't line up with God's Word. Look at 2 Peter 1:20,21 this is how God views opinions. Check out Hebrews 12:1 as matter of fact read the whole chapter. Job was not and is not an isolated incident. Acts 17:24-31, the whole bible from Gen 1:1-Rev22:21 testifies of God's sovereignty. Here's the reason I ask, The people that we reach out to good chance that what we share with them will be the only exposure to the bible they have ever had. It becomes very important what we believe. Speaking of Job, what did God have to say to Jobs friends? He confronted them with the fact that they had not spoke of Him what they should have. Bottom line, are we speaking of God what we should or are we being critical pharisse's. So it's not a matter of anyone's opinion but what God has already stated. In Him, lionheart |
