Bible Note: EdB: I enjoy your scholarly input. I am very much aright brained thinker and some how the Updated NASB seems to touch my heart, or should I say the wording and sentence structure fits my thinking process best. I like Psalm 139 in the Updated NASB, verse 3 the words flow like a new born lamb's wool. "You scrutinize my path and my laying down, A are intimately acquainted with all my ways." The very special way the words are put together are quite personal for me. What ia so amazing for me is the wide choice of Bible translations we English speaking people have. Especially sad is how many peoples have no scripture in their native tongue. This is indeed a fact we as Christians in America will have accountability for having Bible illiterate Christians. There is no excuse for us to say we did not have the Word in our heart and lives. I re-read your Profile again. I was not aware that Lockman had any problem with anything you have written. AS far as I am concerned we have many views represented in the forum, some which make my hair stand up. WOF has not much creditability in my book. That subject has been a thorn in my flesh several times. Now I simply avoid any dialogue on WOF. Now watch any time I say I wont do something I wind up doing just what I said I would not. Sounds a little like Paul, not doing what he should, but knowing what he should do. I think you make choices that are best for you, and you have the defined reason as to why, which I think is very good. Most Christians I believe follow the sheep with the loudest baha, right over the edge of the mountian cliff, playing follow the leader. I doubt anyone will ever say that about you.
