Bible Question:
What does the number "3" stand for in the Bible? Is it possible to find out references on other numbers as well. I know each number has a meaning of some sort, like "7" is God's number for perfection. Thanks, Linda |
Bible Answer: "3" is the number associated with Deity, because three are the persons in one God. Three times the seraphins say Holy, Holy, Holy - one for each of the persons of the Trinity (Is. 6:3). The same with the four beasts in Rev. 4:8. There is more - God is one in three - Father, Son and Holy Spirit, the three persons of the Trinity. I hope this helps. PRican1 |
