Subject: Are Modern Prophets Always Accurate ? |
Bible Note: Dear prophet ezra brown...You may already know that you have not answered my sincere question or, possibly, I was not clear which would be a shortcoming of mine. Let me say this since I know you are new to the Forum: Here, on the Forum, Christians must support their contentions with Scriptural proof or no one will take them seriously, no matter how seriously they take themselves. This is a place of HONEST debate and discussion where, when challenged, the Christian MUST provide the Scriptural support for a claim, OR state that it is opinion only with NO SCRIPTURAL PROOF. Which shall it be with you? We so look forward to your future participation. So...will you join or fight? Believe me when I say that much more is to be learned by joining. Please provide the basis for your statement ......“BUT THE BIBLE SAYS OUT OF THE MOUTH OF TWO OR THREE SHALL A WORD BE CONFIRMED." ....Or restate the statement to conform with Scripture. Either is welcome...really! The closest I have come is in Corinthians and has NOTHING to do with “prophetic confirmation” but order in the Church. To wit: 1CO 14:29 Two or three prophets should speak, and the others should weigh carefully what is said. 30 And if a revelation comes to someone who is sitting down, the first speaker should stop. 31 For you can all prophesy in turn so that everyone may be instructed and encouraged. 32 The spirits of prophets are subject to the control of prophets. 33 For God is not a God of disorder but of peace. The verses in Mark have NOTHING AT ALL to do with Prophets as you must know. Please do not let us think that you are blowing smoke. Prophets (true and false) know better. Do you not know that to claim a thing Biblical when it is not is missing the mark for a Christian? Impressing each other is not part of the Great Commission. Do you believe the following Scriptural warning applies only to the Book of Revelation? Some do, and some say it applies to the entire Bible. I’m not sure. Are you? REV 22:18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book. 19 And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book. God Bless….Jensen |
