Bible Question: I was wondering why God found Job right in the things he said and his friends wrong in the things they said to where Job had to pray for them and also they had to sacrifice at the end?(I'm not judging Job or anything I'm just trying to understand this book.) |
Bible Answer: How many times are you going to ask this question? I told you Job's friends blamed Job's problems on unconfused sin. When in fact Job was found righteous by God. Job kept pleading his innocence but his friends refused to believe him and kept telling him to confess his sin. Job friends are like many people today if something happens instead of offering real condolence they wonder what sins the person in trouble committed. Often they are not there out of compassion but rather curiosity. If you can't understand that answer perhaps rather than just asking your question again you could be more specific about what you don't understand in the answer already given you. EdB |
