Bible Question: Hi, John14'26 reads.:The Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name,He will teach you all things and bing to your remembrance all things that I have said to you: Having read this verse,it is safe to conclude that Jesus has returned to heaven after having relinguished his mission work ,deligated it to the Holy Spirit.Therefor shouldnt our prayers be addressed to the Holy Spirit? |
Bible Answer: John 14:13 (NASB) 13 "Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. We pray to God knowing Jesus is our intercessor who has assured us that, what we ask for in His name He will do. Be ever mindful The Father, Son and Holy Spirit are God. The Son Jesus Christ is what gives us entrance or access to God, He is our mediator, our intercessor, All Authority has been given to Him. We speak to the Father by way of Jesus. |
