Bible Question: i don't understand the whole kingdoms in israel/judah thing? can you expain? |
Bible Answer: Neil The kingdom of Israel was split into two nations after the death of King Solomon. Rehoboam, Solomon’s son was not nearly as wise as his father and ten tribes of Israel separated themselves into what was known as the northern kingdom called Israel. The tribe of Judah and Benjamin remained loyal to Rehoboam and became the southern kingdom of Judah. You can read about this taking place in 1 Kings 12 EdB |
