Bible Question (short): The city that bears God's name? |
Question (full): What does this verse mean by saying "Jerusalem, the city where I have chosen for Myself to put My name."?? If the Lord has chosen Jerusalem to put His Name there, then does this make it obvious why the nations of the Middle East are fighting Israel for the "Promised Land", since satan wants his name there also, because the Lord has especially chosen Jerusalem? Beyond that, I can find no other reason for so much fighting over such a small piece of land that is no bigger than St. Joseph County (the County that I live in).. Any thoughts? |
