Bible Question: This question came up in our small group bible study. Why do you suppose God made David wait 15 years before he became king. I could only suggest that God's time is not our time; we must learn patience; i had heard that he must wait a generation (I don't know why or if that's valid). Can you help me with something more definitive? Thanks -- Rick Mitchell |
Bible Answer: Just my thoughts, without the waiting David wouldn't have had the time to write the many Psalms that he did while he was hiding from Saul. Also what comes to mind, He was annointed to be king when we was just a boy and Saul was still alive. |
