Subject: Who is God Talking to in verse 26? |
Bible Note: Hi, Tess! "identify the Word (Jesus in his prehuman existence) as God’s first creation," It is an interesting conclusion... yet if He is the first of creation is He not the end of creation since He Himself attests taht He is the First and the Last? (Revelation 1:17-18) ...and if He is the First and the Last, should creation not have ended then and there! Please, do not limit God to a notion that Christ, the God-with-us (Matthew 1:23; Is 7:14; 9:6;), is a creature as you and I... to which creature has God delegated His Authority and Divinity (Luke 5:20-21; John 5:17-18; 10:30-33; Romans 9:1-5; 1 Corinthians 2:7-8; Galatians 1:11-12; Phelippians 2:5-11; Titus 2:11-15; Hebrews 1:3-12; 2 Peter 1:1-2; Revelation 19:11-16; 21:3-7)? Please, be as observant as Thomas--even if only after the fact-- and say to Jesus: "My Lord and my God!" (John 20:28) May Christ, who is over all things, send the Holy Spirit to enlighten your mind, heart and spirit! God Bless! Angel |
