Subject: Why was there fourteen sheep on ark? |
Bible Note: Taleb - Dear friend, I hope I'm terribly wrong about your post, but do I detect a measure of skepticism in it regarding Noah's Flood? I fervently hope not, for it has been my experience in trying to live life as a Christian for over half a century that once one allows a drop of skepticism about the veracity of God's word to trickle into his thinking, it's never long before the flood gates open and doubts assail. Please go to www.icr.org and read what some godly men and women with doctorates in natural science have to say about Noah's Flood. And please read the biblical account again carefully, open-mindedly, humbly, prayerfully. And may the Author bless your further study of His word and particularly in this instance, of His account of one of His mighty acts, the flood of old. I wouldn't be at all surprised if your study leads you to believe God's account is quite accurate and your calculations somewhat mistaken. --Hank |
