Subject: Did Adam die lost? |
Bible Note: Ok... I am going to add on here. Jesus died for the sins of the world. Even back to the beginning... The sin that Adam committed against God was rebellion or disobedience if you will. Surely he was saved. Ask yourself this "Are you saved? Have you ever been rebellious or disobedient to the will of God? God actually told Adam this is what would become of him for his misdeed Genesis 3 7 To Adam he said, "Because you listened to your wife and ate from the tree about which I commanded you, 'You must not eat of it,' "Cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat of it all the days of your life. 18 It will produce thorns and thistles for you, and you will eat the plants of the field. 19 By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return." Never once did God say that Adam was condemned to hell. He lost the right to be in the garden, and he lost the ability to eat from the tree of life, but God never deemed him lost. Study carefully Joshua chapter 3... the 16th verse is very interesting once you have referenced this chapter and understand the meaning of crossing the Jordan. Just my thoughts of the subject _Khuck |
