Subject: Why does God love the world (us)? |
Bible Note: Dear Sir Pent, One of the problems that arise out of your view is the inescapable fact that multiplied milions of people down through the ages have lived and died without the benefit of hearing the Gospel. Another problem I have is with the mistaken idea that God could fail at anything He has set forth to do. Arminians claim that God desires to save everyone and yet the vast majority of mankind are unsaved. This implys that the will of God is not powerful enough to overcome the rebellious will of man. The Reformed view sees God as exercising absolute control over all of his creation and accomplishing all his works perfectly according to His eternal purpose. To God be the Glory, John |
