Bible Question: Thanks to you whom have responded to my previous question. But just a little more clarity, on the sixth day, the bible says in Genesis 1:24-31 that He created living creatures according to its kind and everything that creeps on the earth. It also goes on to say that he created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. This was all on the sixth day. Then in Genesis 2:1-3, the bible states that He rested on the seventh day. I guess my question is, did God take the man and put Him in the Garden of Eden after the seventh day and man was in the garden alone and that is why in Genesis 2:21 He caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam and made woman. This is what makes me think that there was male and female created on the sixth day before man was put into the garden and then after man was put in the garden he was alone that is why God made woman from Adams rib to be his help meet in the garden. The bible says on the sixth day He created male and female and then it says on the seventh day He rested and then it says He took man and put him in the garden and after that he says he made woman. Please clarify |
Bible Answer: If it states that man was made on the sixth day, then man was first created on the sixth day. This includes Eve as well as you so well stated in the scripture. Ch. 2 gives us more information about this time of the initial creation. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you see this even more clearly. He is so faithful and is an excellent Teacher. |
