Bible Question: It seems to me that I remember the name of a people (not the Nephilim) that when I researched who they were, no one knows who they were, where they came from or what happened to them. I think I remember they are only mentioned once in the bible in a passing reference, but I don' know where to begin or how to find them. Are there any scholars out there that can possibly help me? |
Bible Answer: Could you be thinking of Melchizedek? He is only mentioned once in the Old Testament and again a few places in the book of Hebrews. Scripture speaks of him in these terms. Hebrews 7:3 (NASB) 3 Without father, without mother, without genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but made like the Son of God, he remains a priest perpetually. |
