AMPLIFIED 2015 | Genesis 8:22 "While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, Cold and heat, Winter and summer, And day and night Shall not cease." |
Bible Question: I've often heard that the Bible teaches that in the last days the seasons would run together, in other words we would be less able to tell when one season ends and another begins. I know that after the flood God said that there would always be seasons until the end of time. Is my first statement simply incorrect or misinterpreted? |
Bible Answer: This verse in Genesis (probably the one you refer to?) is your answer. I too remember hearing this taught as a child, but there is simply no scripture to support an end to the seasons. I would ask if the seasons can be pulled from this promise that God made then why not seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, even day and night? |
