Bible Question (short): How many did Noah bring on the ark ? |
Question (full): In Genesis, it is first said that "You are to bring into the ark two of all living creatures, male and female, to keep them alive with you." Later, when God commands Noah to board the ark, He says "Take with you seven of every kind of clean animal, a male and its mate, and two of every kind of unclean animal, a male and its mate, 3 and also seven of every kind of bird, male and female, to keep their various kinds alive throughout the earth." A: So, 2 or 7 ? B Also, the Danish translation of the bible says "7 pairs", the English version just seven (singles). ? I would love if someone could elaborate on these questions ? |
