Bible Question: Who was the person in the Old Testament that did not die but was taken to heaven by God |
Bible Answer: Hello jap519, Actually, there are two: Enoch and Elijah, both of whom were translated- not seeing death. Gen 5:24 "Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him". (NASB) 2 Kings 2:11 "As they were going along and talking, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire and horses of fire which separated the two of them. And Elijah went up by a whirlwind to heaven." (NASB) These are the only two that scripture indicates never saw death. Speaking the Truth in Love, BradK |
