Subject: Who was the first perfect man |
Bible Note: Greetings Candy Lee, We do not know the reason why God translated Enoch. But, if you agree that the Word of God is perfect and will never pass away (Matt. 24:35, Heb. 4:12-13, 2 Peter 1:19-21), then you also realise that everything that scripture SAYS must also be true.. Do you still agree? Therefore, Romans 3:23 tells us "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God".. If you believe that the Word of God is perfect and true, then you must accept Romans 3:23 as "truth" as well. Enoch was simply a man. Therefore, Enoch sinned. But Enoch had an otherwise "supernatural" way of leaving this world (Gen. 5:24). But he still sinned, as everyman does. Adam sinned (Gen. 3) and so did Lucifer (Isaiah 14:13-14). Jesus Christ was the only human being who was without sin. Blessings to you, Makarios |
