Subject: Is Cain Adams son? |
Bible Note: This is a new "translation" to me. 'greatly multiply thy sorry and thy conception' - means adding another baby? I think that is a little far out. I think conception was going to be painful and she might even wish she had not conceived (sorrow). Is there any source for your thinking this meant two babies? I looked up the Strongs reference and it translates to "he said I will greatly enlarge/increase thy pain, labour, hardship and thy physical conception or pregnancy in pain, hurt, hardship, thou shalt bring forth son, child, children." I don't get that she was given a second child. Thanks. |
