AMPLIFIED 2015 | Genesis 4:1 Now the man Adam knew Eve as his wife, and she conceived and gave birth to Cain, and she said, "I have obtained a man (baby boy, son) with the help of the LORD." |

Bible Note: In Genesis 3:16 God said, “I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception,” He is talking about increasing which is to say “adding” to her conception, “her pregnancy”. In other words He is going to add a child to her already pregnant body. She is going to give birth to two children. God continues to say, “thy desire shall be to thy husband It would be through Adam that God would continue His seed line in which the promises of Christ would come through. After that command “thy desire shall be to thy husband” you can read 4:1 And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, “I have gotten a man from the LORD |
