AMPLIFIED 2015 | Genesis 3:22 ¶ And the LORD God said, "Behold, the man has become like one of Us (Father, Son, Holy Spirit), knowing [how to distinguish between] good and evil; and now, he might stretch out his hand, and take from the tree of life as well, and eat [its fruit], and live [in this fallen, sinful condition] forever"-- |
Subject: Where did evil come from? |
Bible Note: Lionstrong Stop thinking inside the box. Absence can mean far more than the limited definition you assigned to it. Sin is in fact the absence of God, the absence of God's obedience in our lives, the absence of God's will in our lives, the absence of God's law in our lives. The absence of the every essence of God in our lives. Since God is the living definition of righteousness, holiness, truth, honor, justice, love, and good; then could it not be said, without violating the laws of sensibility, that the absence of God is in fact evil?
