AMPLIFIED 2015 | Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more crafty (subtle, skilled in deceit) than any living creature of the field which the LORD God had made. And the serpent (Satan) said to the woman, "Can it really be that God has said, 'You shall not eat from any tree of the garden'?" [Rev 12:9-11] |
Bible Question: Anyone out there ever doubt God's existence? Just one day and for no reason, the thought entered my mind that is there really a God and, if so, who created Him? In all my adults years, the thought never entered my mind to doubt God's existence until a few months ago. What happened? Are there any scriptures that teach God can cause one to have a change of heart or become a nonbeliever in our Maker? I am deeply worried. I still attend worship service because for the most part, I do and want very much to believe in His existence. Any encouragment will be so much appreciated. Atheist need not reply. |
Bible Answer: "But ask the animals, and they will teach you.... Which of all these does not know that the hand of the Lord has done this? In his hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind." Job12:7-10 "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands." Psalm19:1 Do not fear doubt. It shows us where we need to grow in our faith. Just as temptation is not sin, a passing thought is not a change of heart. In each, what matters is how you respond. Peace. |
