AMPLIFIED 2015 | Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more crafty (subtle, skilled in deceit) than any living creature of the field which the LORD God had made. Bible Note: What a thrill to hear my words helped. Please accept my apologies for such a “late” response. I use more than one computer, depending on where I am during the day (or night), and, although from time to time I "spotted" a posting, to which I responded, yours was waiting at home for me. While I can’t think of any particular verse, although there are a few that you “might” be referring to, please allow me to address the rest of your note. Being “faithful” in attendance is wonderful. Remain faithful to them, AND “faithful” with your relationship with Him. As far “making every effort to follow …” bear in mind 1 John 3:18-24. (It’s sometimes hard to “pull and use” Scriptures, but I feel these might help.) “… let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. And hereby we KNOW that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before Him. For IF our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. And whatsoever we ask, we receive of Him, because we keep His commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in His sight. And this is His commandment, That we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as He gave us commandment. And He that keepeth His commandments dwelleth in Him, and He in him. And hereby WE KNOW that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which He hath given us.” Respectfully, Taleb |
