Bible Question: what bible character burned his son alive as sacrifice |
Bible Answer: God commanded Abraham to sacrifice his son Isaac. Isaac was a son of promise, and even so, Abraham immediately began his journey bringing along his son and firewood for the sacrifice. If you read the chapter, though, it turns out God stops Abraham, calling him faithful for following through. Isaac is never actually sacrificed. |
