Bible Note: Dear Scribe, I agree with your insights into Ezekiel 28, and regarding the fall of Satan believe we have evidence to conclude the following: (1) It did not occur until after the woman had been created. (2) Furthermore, we can conclude that it did not occur until after the 7th Day when God rested. The earliest possibility would be Day 8…. (3) It did, as you noted, occur within the garden of Eden, and the Scriptures on this point are quite specific. (4) The tree of knowledge was as instrumental in the fall of Satan as it was for our original ancestors. There’s a lot more that can be stated as well. Have you discovered when exactly the cherub known as "Lucifer" (since Jerome's Vulgate) was created? |
