AMPLIFIED 2015 | Genesis 2:9 And [in that garden] the LORD God caused to grow from the ground every tree that is desirable and pleasing to the sight and good (suitable, pleasant) for food; the tree of life was also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the [experiential] knowledge (recognition) of [the difference between] good and evil. Bible Question (short): Don't be deceived |
Question (full): Dear EMD Can you provide any evidence from the Scriptures that the fall of Satan had already taken place on Day 6. There is a difference between POTENTIALITY and ACTUALITY. At this point in time Evil was a potential that would soon be realised, it was not yet an actuality. Proof: God cannot lie (Titus 1:2) and after He had caused the tree of knowledge to grow alongside the tree of life He looked at everything He had made "and, behold, it was very good." (Genesis 1:31) In 1 Corinthians 4:6 the Apostle Paul gives us a very valuable principle "that ye might learn ... not to think above that which is written." Be BLESSED |
