Bible Question:
Could the devil have created some "people" who now inhabit this earth and they make up those who are not saved. If someone thinks so, then is there any scriptural support for such an idea? Thanks. |
Bible Answer: continued-- Still not even close to considering what I say to be relavent? how about we then consider whaat kind of god satan is, how about we consider what it is man has come to expect from his God. Let me ask you why is it you think christ was murdered, why is it that men wanted nothing more then to shut Him up? Becasue christ promised to completely destroy and incinerate the very last of mans hopes, in christ we find the the very foundation of all our sinful hopes and all our selfish aspiration of glory are sinply laid to waste. After all here we have christ a vagrant, a bum, a worthless no account vagabond--and yet he tells us that he is God, he is not the great and mighty spectacle we seek to have, he is not a God that will satisfy our void like appetites and he is not a God that inspires us to find great passion and love for ourselves, he is a God without pride, he is a God who speaks simply, he is a God who walks softly, not the arrogant and loud screaming fire breathing monster we seek to see. But let us take a closer look at satan if we would dare! What we find is that satan is in fact the embodyment of every last thing man has come to adore--satan is big, powerful, larger than life, all knowing, deceitful, cunning, smooth, provoking, awe inspiring, wrathful, vengeful, full of lust and greed, non compromising in his way. And in all this satan is the type of God that will in fact give to man whatever it is he asks for. By this I ask you to further consider what really happened to Isreal in the desert on their great exodous. Why did they roam around for forty yaers in a wasteland? It is because they rejected the land offered to them by God, they rejected it for the simple and undeniable reason that they did not trust God, specifically they did not understand how God could even begin to understand what it is they wanted, much less then move to give to them the same. And so they freely took the desert wasteland instead of the land of milk and honey, they took the desert becasue they knew it was not from God, and while in the desert they quickly found out that it was not a place they could bear to live in, so what did they do, what is it theri pride forced them to do--they did what they could to make it bearable, they turned to satan, the god of their own hand. This brings me to the temptation of christ--for christ too went into the same desert, christ was there a day for every year that isreal wandered, and christ was confronted by the notion, the manifestation of satan. What did satan immediately offer to christ, a way out of the desert--no no no, instead satan offered to make it bearable for christ so that christ may stay there and call it his kingdom--and as we all know christ flat out refused the offer basically declaring that the desert already has a god and that the desert has no need for a ruler, and that only a fool would seek to call upon the wind swept sands as his subjects. I think I have said enough for now--if anyone would like to further discuss the issue of satans nonexistence I would be more then happy to accomodate them. Thank you for your time. |
