Bible Question:
Could the devil have created some "people" who now inhabit this earth and they make up those who are not saved. If someone thinks so, then is there any scriptural support for such an idea? Thanks. |
Bible Answer: Much to my angst and dismay there are many many folks that perpetuate and stubbornly advocate the accusatory notion that "satan" is in fact not only a being that lives but that he has the ability to create things in the way that the Lord can. To be clear and to be completely uncompromising I must say that it is my firmest conviction that although satan does in fact exist he is by all means (rational or otherwise) without life and dead, as such satan is an entity that cannot create something capable of living. I would go even further and present to you the notion that it is absurd to think that satan can shape or form anything of any substance at all! "ABSURD!" I can almost hear the roaring and bellowing of the church in reply to what I have just said, absurd yes, but oh how true it is. How can any man woman or child who has seen the word of God not only in print but in life as well then turn to the belief that there is in fact another realm, one that is apart from God in that it is in fact against everything God stands to be a manifestation of and direct substance of, and that this realm is as real, relevant and substansitative to the human condition as the one that was created by the Lord? I ask you as christains to consider the reality that satan did not create himself, and that God being not the God of sin nor the God of death is not responsible for the existence of satan either, leaving none other than man being the one whose hand had formed from the proverbial clay, thus breaking the sabboth, the day of rest, the day no more was to be created, and fashoining for himself an image so that he may bow down and worship it. That image, that lifeless idol being satan in every circle of understanding possible. Is this so hard a concept to understand? Is it so nonsensical and preposturous as to discard it and completely scoff at it? I mean think about it real good, read the bible, read what has happened here, there is a mountain of mountains of evidence indicating that man did create satan. I present to you the following scriptural references to satan and ask that you be the judge: continued |
