Bible Note: I believe you mean the new covenant was enforced. The new testament is a collection of scriptures. The writings of the apostles which make up that section of our Bible. The new Covenant has to do with the basis of our relationship with God after the Cross(to be brief and simple). I would also be more inclined to refer to the new covenant as being something we enter into rather than something enforced. But I do understand your intent. Some would also refer to the time period as a dispensation. you can google dispensationalism and get a quick idea of what some christian beliefs are regarding this.
