Bible Question: Can anyone tell me exactly how Adem and Eve used livestock in the bible or what the actual meaning of livestock was. I have a friend that is a vegan and she belives Adem and Eve were also. I don't believe her. I believe they ate meat from the begining. |
Bible Answer: Clearly, they were meat eaters after Adam. There is no scriptural answer as to whether Adam And Eve ate meat though. I tend to believe that after they sinned Adam and Eve may have become meat eaters. God clothed them with the skins of animals. Prior to their sin the only reference to their diet was in Genesis 3:17. As to "livestock," it is doubtful that Adam needed to "use" them, unless it was to "keep the grass mowed." |
